The kitten is no longer bandaged.
Unfortunately, he panicked on the way home and savaged me :-(

Also, how do you travel with him? I realise it's always going to be different with different cats, and that we've travelled a lot with H, but he travels with a special car harness (it is quite strong and has a loop on it that can go over a seatbelt, but I'm almost always holding him or holding the end of the lead rather than having him tied in), and we stick a litter tray on the floor in the back of the car in case he needs it (rare but has happened). He isn't phased by car travel 90% of the time, and the other 10% he meows incessantly but usually keeps sitting on my lap while he does it...a kind of "I'm grumpy, are we there yet, just letting you know things could be better in my world, etc etc".
So it might be worth considering if he doesn't like the car. The harness in various photos is the XS one rather than the blue one.
