That definitely sounds like the right way to approach it - plenty of warmth in the house even when it's cold outside. I sympathize with your dislike of winter. I hate it here when the snow is five days old and lies at the roadsides in big brown lumps; I hate having to wear thermal pants underneath my tights underneath my skirt underneath my coat before I can step out of the house in January. But for all of that, there's something nice about having four seasons. It's reassuring. Not just because it makes us value summer; it also makes us aware of the world's cycles. I like that, in the end, however much it inconveniences or depresses me. Stay warm! And maintain that sunny personality of yours even when it's gloomy outside!
