When you've just finished work and are tired and cranky and wearing jeans that have the zip ripped out because they broke when you did them up and you're blocking that from view with a McDonald's bag containing the chips you just bought even though you can't afford them and shouldn't have them but felt like chips after your one pair of jeans broke and now you're rushing to catch a train home...

...is a damned inconvenient time to run into your boyfriend's mother.

Sigh.

I've organised my weekend.
