Nov. 21st, 2007 08:06 amToday is the first day since before the Bacchae was bumped in that I have nothing I need to do. Sure, there may have been one or two days since then when I've done nothing, but there was always the feeling I should be doing things, which meant I felt guilty, not relaxed. Today my essays are done for now, I'm not at work, I have no appointments or engagements until 7:15pm.
It's awesome. :-D
I'm not sure if I'll make the trek home in this rain. I plan to spend the next hour or two in bed, then I'll get up and move down to the lounge and either watch tv or listen to my CD of the BBC radio play of Venus in Copper (I think Falco was either miscast or wrongly directed, but I suppose there was no way it could be exactly the same as in my head when I read the books) and continue working on my knitting. I may go to the gym in the afternoon, but I'm not making it a thing I MUST do. Then all I have to do in the evening is make sure I'm in the city by 7pm so I can pick up my comp tickets and
vassilissa and I can go to Tales of Hoffman. Yay! Opera! Real, live opera!
The rain sounds nice against the window while I'm tucked up in bed.
