Self-created meme

After reading my flist, dealing with some family issues, and catching up with some non (or not-regular) lj people I have come to the conclusion that many of us have moved temporarily (I hope) down to The Dumps.

Therefore, to combat this recent descent, I humbly request that each of my friends comment on this entry and tell me about something happening in their lives right now that is good and makes them happy, be it big or small.

I'll go first: My kitten behaves himself at the vet, and is growing into a well-adjusted, still-shy-but-tame young cat. Two months ago he was a wild thing hiding under the house, not allowing humans within five metres of himself, now he is dozing comfortably out in the open on the rug, perfectly content.
