Sponsor a booze-free month!

mc_shamo has given up alcohol for the month of February. He's been planning on doing it since the start of the year, then I stumbled across this (warning, SFW but noisy, turn the sound down on your computer) which seemed like a good way to help out while keeping his resolution. Basically people can donate and sponsor his non-drinking month by credit card or Paypal. Proceeds go to the Drug Foundation and help youth with substance abuse problems.

Seamus' page is here, it's a pity about the wanky url but the intention is good. I am broke, so have donated by far the least amount of money. I'm trying to help out by spreading the word in other ways.

Why?

Basically people can donate and sponsor his non-drinking month by credit card or Paypal.

If it was a month of being drunk, I could understand (a worthy undertaking!), but non-drunk? And this costs money?
