Advise me

I need to pick up a light dinner in the city, it probably needs to be takeaway.

I would like something healthy.

I would also like something warm.

I will need to get it between finishing work at 5pm and getting on the 5:55pm Hurstbridge train.

Money not a huge issue, though I balk at spending more than $15.

I am pescetarian.

Any suggestions?

Where abouts is your work? Noodlebox I found to be quite good, and because of the design of the boxes stays warm for ages.

Hmm, I'm up on Collins street. i will see if there is one nearby, thanks!

The only one that I know the location of off the top of my head is a block south of Southbank, but the intewebs will likely give you one nice and close.

Ah, lamentably no, only way over in City Rd. Still, good to remember it's there, thanks!

Thee are many sushi options around the palce, and it'll be 'end of day cheap' time!

But that's only if you feel like Sushi.

Where on Collins is the death star?

Little Collins actually, on the corner of Russel, it's the huge fuck-off building with the satelite dish. Why? You know good sushi?

Don Don on Swanston St is good if you want to bash other people out of the way. Esterller 77 on Swanston is also good, though a lot less healthy since they love to fry stuff in shrimp paste and ketjap manis. I don't really eat light dinners though...

See, I'm going to something at which "supper wil be provided." I don't know whether that will be a sumpteous feast involving sandwiches, cheese platters and fruit like last time, or a cup of tea with a biscuit. Either way I won't get fed until 8pm, and if I don't eat every three hours or so I get...cranky (just ask anyone I've ever travelled with). Hence, something that will keep me going until 8pm when I may possibly not get fed much anyway is required!

It's too late for tonight, but Ghurka's on Flinders St might be a bit healthy. Or maybe just yum, but not _too_ expensive, and warm and tasty and filling with plenty of veg options.

Also something I haven't tried but which intrigues me for $15 is the Cafe Vue lunchbox, a 4 course lunchbox from a gourmet place. I have been reading a bit about Cafe Vue recently and am a little excited. Not really suiting your needs either though. Just food I am thinking about.

Don't be a pescetarian, be a real person.

this will probably come too late, but there's a few good places in QV (the block bordered by lonsdale, lt lonsdale, swanston and russell) where you can take your pick. It's just a slightly-better-than-a-normal-food-court food court.

Hard to find it open, for me, but there is a spudbar in the City between Little Collins St and Collins St in the next arcade toward Spencer St from elizabeth St.

Lots of food for not too much money, $8 for takeaway.
