Good God I need a coffee.

One more day, then it's pay day, and I can have a nice coffee.

Since that's a whole day away, I guess I'll have the instant that is here.

My contract has just been extended a month. Yay! That's actually quite convenient, because it means I finish work on the 22nd or so of September, and if they decide that that is all they want from me I can take the two days of the Tech and Dress Run for Lysistrata off, then start working again on the day of the preview. I might see if there is any part-time work for those two weeks, only working 4-5 hours a day while performing would be very tempting (or "temp-ing"! Ha! Cos I'm a temp! Getit? Get...I'm fired, aren't I?)

I got all excited night before last because I managed to sleep the whole night through. Unfortunately that was not the case last night, but I only woke up once, and it was early morning (5:40 a-fucking-m!), not middle of the night. I choose to take this as encouraging.

Coffee. Coffee, coffee coffee.

I understand your coffee cravings! If I were there I would shout you a coffee. Alternatively, I offer this advice:

Buy a plunger. Buy some nice pre-ground coffee (if not from some gourmet cafe supplier, then from the supermarket. Many have fine fair trade options!).

Never go wanting again! No more instant! Huzzah!

And yes... you're fired :P

This is excellent advice, which I shall subscribe to as soon as I can afford a plunger, and am in a place that sells them. (Target and Big W would have them, right?)

Probably. As a matter of fact, we probably have a spare you can have (I think Michael has 3. I have taken 1, which still leaves 2 - ah-ha! See, biologists CAN do maths!).
