I wouldn't stress too much - generqally boy cats get on better with new cats than girl ones do.
When we got Toby, Cedric was cautious and watched him from a distance for a little while before warming up to him; the two curl up to each other now. Ruri is still very ambivalent towards him - she actively hissed and growled at him when Toby came near, and she still avoids him now.
Loki's probably just playing with the new cat, but keep an eye on them all the same.
