Film Project

Samson and Delilah Moving, heart-breaking and reflective. Extremley good.

Blade Runner Awesome! I can see why it gets studied in schools (my school updated and went with Gattaga instead)

I'm assuming you watched the director's cut of blade runner? The other one has a completely out of place, Hollywood ending. It is a great film, even after watching it over and over and analysing it to pieces in year 12, I would, and have, still watch it for pleasure.

I don't know if I've ever seen the non-directors cut....

Although there were scenes in the one I watched that I don't remember from earlier viewings (Roy kissing Dr Tyrell for instance).

I've seen both and only remember that one had a voiceover and the ending was different... there was something about a unicorn but I can't remember which one ended up where.

I enjoyed it, and it was a great piece to study for year 12 (we got the choice of that or Schindler's List. Every single other English class went for a three hour film, very heavy in digestion; we theorised that if we were going to have to watch it THAT MANY TIMES we should pick something shorter). I'm still not sure I could watch it again, but maybe I should give it a go.

I love Bladerunner. I studied it in year 12, watched it almost every day while I was studying for my exams in year 12 and it's STILL my absolute favourite movie of all time.

I have the final cut on dvd which came with 5 different versions of the film - I watched the non-director's-cut version of it recently. Blerk! I'll stick with the director's cut, I think! (I like the roy/tyrell version better in the director's cut than the final cut... and it's probably my favourite scene in the movie)
