I've seen both and only remember that one had a voiceover and the ending was different... there was something about a unicorn but I can't remember which one ended up where.

I enjoyed it, and it was a great piece to study for year 12 (we got the choice of that or Schindler's List. Every single other English class went for a three hour film, very heavy in digestion; we theorised that if we were going to have to watch it THAT MANY TIMES we should pick something shorter). I'm still not sure I could watch it again, but maybe I should give it a go.
