Hey, [livejournal.com profile] vivienne_aster and [livejournal.com profile] fnoo!

This is what your flat would look like tarted up renovated. It's actually a little eerie looking at the pictures!

If only I had a spare $350000...

It is, isn't it? I like the floors.

I like th floors too. Looks like a nice place. Not sure I'd like living that close to the Molesworth St flats.

Well, apart from the occasional smashed windscreen and burgled flat, it's not so bad. So far we have been blessed (*knocks on wood*), but I suspect that's due to a quirk of our kitchen window (the favoured burglar entry).

And sigh. I like the floors too. I prefer wood to look at but carpet under my feet, and there could be rugs, and if the cats clawed them that would be okay (*glances at destroyed carpet*). Ah well.

Also, I have a sneaking suspicion the flat looked a bit more like that before we [livejournal.com profile] fnoo moved in.

Melbourne housing prices give me indigestion. I'd forgotten. How could I have forgotten? They're ridiculous. I intend to get us a very nice cardboard box, which will be convenient and relocatable!

...at least it's not Sydney ;)

With my cardboard box, we could easily move to Sydney if we wanted to. So there.

And I know that housing prices are about the same in the cities I'd consider worth living in here, too, like New York, but it huuuuuurts.
