1. I had a dream about a week ago in which vivienne_aster, _audhumla_ and I formed an indie-alternative-90s-pop band. I played guitar and sang, Kate played bass and sang, Sarah had a tamborine. We were called "The Carmichaels" and our first album was self titled with a bird's eye view of a cappuchino on it.

2. We want a cat run, I will be researching how to make one and whether it's possible to make one or whether it would be better to buy one (which will mean much saving up as they are in the four figure realm) if anyone has any advice or tips please feel free to weight in (nearlyalegume, I seem to remember you making one...)

3. This has to be the best, happiest April Fools Day prank ever, just imagine being stoned and walking into this:

Oh, you're with Green Line too! My cousin was recommending them - it sounds like they might be rather cheaper than the guys who currently deliver us organic fruit and veg.

Do you get their mixed box, by any chance? I saw on their website they have different priced boxes, but I couldn't find anything to indicate how much you actually get in a box of one price or another.

We used to get the $60 busy box, which contained quite a lot, split 50/50 between fruit and vegies. But we started getting just vegies (40 veggie box) not so long ago.

For $40 you get about 8 different vegetables. Honestly the variety changes a lot. But (as an example) we'd usually expect to find lettuce of some variety, a half cauliflower or cabbage or pumpkin, some onions (about 4-6 small or medium sized), 4 or so potatoes, something leefy (silverbeet or spinach - a good sized bunch too) bok choi (which came EVERY time...), corn (2 cobs), and then a 2 out of the following of: Carrots (4 or so), a half head of cellery, snow peas, peas, beans, zucchini, mushrooms or cucumber.

It's very seasonal....

They also do requests - so if there's something you don't like/can't eat you can just ask them not to put it in and they substitute. The mixed boxes just add up to the same as if you ordered $40 worth of stuff individually.... We're going through more now, and ordering individually. It's about 50-60 bucks a week for fruit and veg. They also do general groceries too.
