Things I keep meaning to post but forget to:

1. I had a dream about a week ago in which [livejournal.com profile] vivienne_aster, [livejournal.com profile] _audhumla_ and I formed an indie-alternative-90s-pop band. I played guitar and sang, Kate played bass and sang, Sarah had a tamborine. We were called "The Carmichaels" and our first album was self titled with a bird's eye view of a cappuchino on it.

2. We want a cat run, I will be researching how to make one and whether it's possible to make one or whether it would be better to buy one (which will mean much saving up as they are in the four figure realm) if anyone has any advice or tips please feel free to weight in ([livejournal.com profile] nearlyalegume, I seem to remember you making one...)

3. This has to be the best, happiest April Fools Day prank ever, just imagine being stoned and walking into this:

4. [livejournal.com profile] vivienne_aster, the people we get our fruit and veggies delivered from are here.

I'd LOVE it, thank you! We'll probably eventually buy one like your current one but will have to save up. Do you want anything for your old one? We can come up and get it in Seamus' work bus, or you can come here if it's portable and you want to, I'll cook some thing nice and we can hang out for a bit.

Let me know what is easiest for you.

It's not really portable (it's fecking heavy), so the bus is going to have to be the go. You're welcome to it - after the work that Dad put in to build it, I'm glad to see it get some more use. I'll take some photos so that you know what you're getting ahead of time - adjustments might be needed, depending on where it's going and how Loki and Puck are getting into in from the house. I'll do that once a certain ginger lassie has migrated from my lap... she's lying in my arms like a baby (got like that herself) and it's so cute that I can't bear to move her yet :)

Okay, here are some photos.

When it was first built and installed - Dad put it through the bathroom window. Please keep in mind that Elphie and Sodpot were only kittens, so they make it look enormous when it is in fact merely big.

Taken about ten minutes ago:

The people door has a latch for a padlock - added safety.

The sisal rope is coming loose a bit, but a bit of glue will fix that.

And this was why I didn't do it immediately:
