Post-Wedding Post

In stark contrast to my earlier post today I thought I'd make a cheerful entry, and realised that I have not actually uploaded pics from the wedding here for non Facebook types.


On the 1st of April 2010 I got married to this bloke:




We got married at the Guild Theatre in Union House at the University of Melbourne in an appropriately theatrical manner:







Afterwards we had some of the traditional shots in the Old Quad that everyone who gets married at uni has:





Some non-traditional shots in the Old Quad:




And some non traditional shots around campus:






We found some drunk uni students on South Lawn who gave me a beer:




And made sure to have a picture with our old friend "Zeusidon" a copy of an acient Greek statue that may have been either Zeus or Poseidon:




And we made our escape on the back of a trishaw:



It was an amazing, wonderful day.

That was one of the good things about getting maried on a weekday, there were still students wandering around, and we ran in to one of my favourite lecturers.

Considering VSU and all that nonsense, I was very pleased to find students with beer on South Lawn, the campus is not yet dead!
