Just for anyone who had no idea what I was talking about with my hapyhappy post yesterday, or for those who did and want some nostalgia:

Ok, now time to work!

I was so glad to read your post last night. How wonderful that Peter Combe is making a comeback, and unlike many people trying to make a comeback, he's aiming at his original audience, of which he's guarranteed to succeed with.

It was so long ago, I couldn't remember any of his songs, so I went to his Myspace page, and was soon singing along with Mr Clickety Cane. [livejournal.com profile] i_weasel can't remember him properly, and was wondering what the bad singing was for.

The topic of nostalgia is very interesting. A few times I've complained that our demographic has NO teenage years nostalgia, with the exception of How I Met Your Mother (I love that show for that reason, among others). The generation before us has heaps of 80s teen years nostalgia.

Yet we increasingly are having nostalgia, but for the childhood years, with all the toys and TV shows from that era making a comeback. Maybe the powers that be decided that the 90s were too angsty and embarassing to want to remember.
