mstakenidentityI was one of the many Melbournians who could not sleep last night.
So I decided what with working more than enough over the next week to cover it financially and actually feeling a bit bleugh in my stomach region and not really giving a stuff anymore since giving in my notice to take today off work. I figured I'd study...
..Heh, I woke up about half an hour ago.
I'm actually a tad cranky about this as this may throw my sleep for tonight out of whack. So I've decided that this afternoon should be spent at the gym! At least that way I might tire myself out enough that by the time I get home from class I'll want to sleep. (This is the problem with evening classes, I can't seem to make my brain understand that they're late enough that I should be in bed an hour or so after arriving home. My brain seems to feel that I need a good three hours unwinding fIrst)
Anyway, going to throw on clothes and go to the gym. Any not-at-work people who also frequent my gym and feel like a session at short notice, send me a text, I'll be there til 4pm (though probably in the pool the last 1/2 hour and consequently phoneless)

Date: 2008-03-18 03:22 am (UTC)Yes, I too could not sleep. I love the heat. I wallow in the heat. Yet last night was just ridiculous. And I had to teach this morning. Oh yes, I was in a great mood. I'm so close to fallin gasleep on my keyboard, it's not funny.

Date: 2008-03-18 05:34 am (UTC)Unfortunately the heat last night was oppressive enough to give me nightmares (or a nightmare anyway, in which a 17th century naval captain looking like Anthony Hopkins performed torturous and grisly experimants on his crew WTF?!) Once I woke up from this nightmare (4am) it was impossible to fall back asleep.
Anyway, will you be around on Thursday afternoon about 4:30pm? I'm thinking pre-class beer...

Anyway, yes, I think that sounds like a plan! Remind me on the day but I'm pretty sure I have no meetings that day, and I definitely don't have teaching.

He disguises himself as a kid and is in the same class as another kid who is a paranoid about aliens. Oh, and he has a robot called "Gir" whose dumb as a post. I found this ep on youtube, pity I couldn't find the first one, it's hilarious.
