I found this combined Bachelor and Master degee while looking for something completely different and work related online.

It's offered under HECS CSP. I'd have to check how much leeway i still have there, but it might be doable.

I sent an email to their office yesterday to ask how many contact hours a week there would be, and if it's possible to do the course part-time.

I got a reply today (which, having dealt with admin at Melbourne uni for the past 7 years, astounded me) that it's 8 contact hours, and the course is available part-time, though the timetable has not yet been written.

It's in Bundoora, I don't drive. I also can't survive on less that $550 a week, it might mean cancelling the holiday I'd planned with [livejournal.com profile] mc_shamo. I don't know if I could start mid-year instead. If I go part-time it could take eight years to completely finish.

But it's a degree I could do, and I want to do it.

When I was panicking about stopping work and doing a degree, my dad said "you're a long time dead" ie if you want to go for it and are prepared for eg no money/holidays, you should! And I am SO EXCITED about my course starting.
