I am now following the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet so have meals planned out, which helps a great deal.

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and teaspoon of wochester sauce.

Lunch: Wholemeal sandwich with vegemite

Dinner: 100grams lamb marinated in coriander, teumeric, chilli, white wine and lemon juice
1 cup bean salad
1 cup lettuce leaves

Dessert: Will be pinapple slices when I get home

Excercise:

All incidental today, not a chance to get to the gym, walked around uni while at reheasal, walked around the building at work. I won't get a chance to go to the gym til Monday unfortunately.

I went to part of the rehearsals for Trackers today (Omniprop's next show, which I am producing) and what I saw had me in stitches :-D

Also, yesterday Seamus picked me up from work with a bottle of champagne and my engagement ring! Hurrah! Is all Oficially Officially Official! And the ring is absolutely stunning in real life. The rose gold has a lovely tone and diamond is the sparkliest (and biggest actually) that I've ever seen in real life. And the rubies are my very favourite shade of red. I've very, very happy with it and still can't quite believe this gorgeous, one-of-a-kind ring is mine.

I recommend not walking from Barkly Square to Ascot Vale with a backpack, handbag and two shopping bags. It hurts.

That diet sounds like a sensible one.

And yay for the ring! It looks gorgeous in the photos, you're so lucky to have it done specially.

I still can't believe that you got the ring hand designed and made. Mainly because you guys are the first people to do that. I agree with Hamish, you should try to get a few photos of it for insurance purposes and to email/post so that those of us who don't have a man as wonderful as yours can drool with envy.

You are quite possibly the luckiest person alive.

Personal, quite tactless question about the ring, how did you find someone to make it?

The ring was made by Ben Mannings, a South-Australian jewellery maker who only uses recycled, sustainable and fair trade materials (that's "and", not "and/or" by the way- he refuses to buy new stuff even if it is fair trade as he does not agree with modern mining techniques) and makes them in an as environmentally frienly way as possible, to the point that the liquids used in making and cleaning the jewellery can be poured on his veggie garden!

His website, Utopian Creations, is here.

He will be at the Organic Expo 2009 next weekend at the Exhibition Building if you're interested in seeing his stuff for real (and you're most welcome to admire the ring when next we meet!)

And I found him via google. The only way anyone finds anything these days :).
