That darn cat
Mar. 15th, 2008 05:37 pmLoki got outside this morning. I'd opened the bedroom window to get some air in and either forgotten to close the door or it hadn't latched properly. Cue an hour or so of concern, and of assuring each other he'd come home when he was hungry. Finally I was checking the bedroom to make absolutely sure he was not there and I glanced out the window. I saw a small, black tail protruding from the enourmous front-yard bush. Thank Christ.
Once back inside he hid for a while (I caught him the only way I could since he was in an awkward spot, so I think I possibly hurt him- I definitely scared him- but I was scared he'd run off and we'd lose him) then found the coolest place in the house to be. I was quite impressed. He came into the loungeroom when the air-con was on and flopped down under the clothes horse that was full of damp clothes.
I'm currently uploading some slightly better quality videos of him playing with his new tower to Facebook. I am glad he likes it. And I;m glad we got him back, I really don't think I could stand losing another cat so soon.
