More wedding stuff
Aug. 27th, 2009 10:16 pmToday was a very nice day.
In the morning
mc_shamo and I had breakfast, then did the supermarket shopping. We came home, dumped stuff, grabbed gym gear and headed out to the cake making place in Ascot Vale.
The cake making woman was really enthusiastic about what we wanted to do for our cake and gave us a sample of each cake flavour to take away with us.
We went to the gym and I got through the first session of the second week of C25K without too much drama so was happy. After that we went to our favourite local cafe, orderd coffees and spent a very pleasant half hour tasting cakes and deciding on flavours.
We then wandered half a block up the street to the florist shop. The florist did the flowers at James and Katie's wedding and I'd been really impressed by them. We chatted to her about what we wanted and she drew up a quote and was really lovely and fun. A really nice woman.
We then drove all of three blocks to the bowls club where the reception will be and wandered around the space counting tables and chairs and working out what tablecloths we'd need to order as well as checking out the sound system.
Back at home we mucked around on the computer, I drew up the final booking list for tonight's show, made a stirfry and then rushed off to uni for Trackers!
At this point I realised I was exhausted, so once the box office closed I headed home. About to go to bed as I start work at 7am tomorrow.
Busy day, but very fun.
