I've been trying to load the metlink melbourne trip planner all day, it's not happening.

If anyone can tell me the best way to get to Brady st, South Melbourne from the city by pt and roughly how long it will take I'd be very grateful.

Also, if anyone knows of a better way to find out about public transport online please enlighten me.

This afternoon:

The 86 tram back to the city from Fitzroy. Pleasantly full of lunch and chai from a vegan cafe on Smith St. I'd been kissed goodbye by my lover, with whom I'd eaten, knowing I'd see him again in a few hours. I was looking forward to visiting a good friend for afternoon tea and conversation. The sunlight was entering the tram in streams.
The tram was hugging the edge of the Carlton Gardens, bright and sunny and green. I was listening to Sunlight in a Jar by the Lucksmiths when a large, colourful butterfly landed on the outside of my window. It fluttered for a while, then flew along with the tram. When the tram next stopped it flew a few metres away and fluttered over to a small child on the footpath, who giggled with delight when she caught sight of it. The butterfly then flew up into the trees, disappearing into the sunlight.

I sank back in my seat, awash with happiness and calm.
